Chandigarh: Senior Punjab police officer Rupinder Singh has done the state police proud in the sports arena by winning champion golfer’s title at the national police golf tournament.
He is currently posted as the SSP, Vigilance Bureau, Economic Offences Wing, Ludhiana.
He has won the overall championship at the All India Police Golf Tournament 2024-25 held at Ahmedabad. The tournament was hosted by the Gujarat Police.
In this annual event, gazetted officers from all state police and paramilitary forces participate.
Rupinder Singh had the best score after 3-day competition held at the tough course of Kalhar blues and greens.
On the concluding day, the chief guest Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel gave away the prizes to the winners.
