Eminent speakers including former Justice, Delhi High Court Talwant Singh would share valuable insights

Chandigarh: To equip professionals with advanced knowledge on cybercrime, a workshop on ‘Cyber Crime, Investigation, and Law’ is being organized by Truth Labs, Nasdeep Foundation and Proud Legal on March 2, 2025 at Law Bhawan Hall, Sector 37-A, Chandigarh.

This initiative of the organizing NGOs is aimed at bridging the gap between law enforcement, legal professionals, and cybersecurity experts to enhance cyber resilience.

Eminent speakers including former Justice, Delhi High Court Talwant Singh would share valuable insights during the workshop on the significance of digital evidence, ethical hacking, and collaboration between law enforcement agencies to combat cyber threats.

The event would bring together leading cybersecurity experts, law enforcement officers, legal professionals and IT specialists to discuss emerging cyber threats, investigative techniques, and the evolving legal framework governing cyber offenses.

The workshop would cover key aspects of cybercrime, including hacking, phishing, financial fraud, identity theft and cyber terrorism. Session on Investigation Techniques would focus on insights into digital forensics, cybercriminal tracing and ethical hacking tools.

During Legal Framework session deliberations on the Information Technology Act, provisions under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and recent amendments in data protection laws would be held. 

Analysis of high-profile cybercrime cases and law enforcement strategies to tackle cyber threats effectively would be discussed during presentations on case studies.

The workshop would also feature interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and panel discussions with cybersecurity experts to address real-world challenges.

Participants would be awarded certificates of completion and discussions on future collaborative programs would be held to further strengthen cybersecurity measures.
