After Sajjan Kumar, it’s turn of Kamalnath and Tytler: BJP

Chandigarh:  After the life sentence handed out to Delhi Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in 1984 anti-Sikh pogrom, it is now the turn of other big Congress leaders Jagdish Tytler and Kamalnath to face similar fate in accordance with law, said RP Singh, the BJP national spokesperson.

The court verdict in Sajjan Kumar’s case has come as a major breather for the Sikh community which became possible only due to consistent efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, he said while addressing media at the state party office here Friday February 28, 2024.

Flanked by the state general secretary Jagmohan Raju and the state media head Vineet Joshi, the central BJP leader added that the verdict reiterated the BJP’s commitment to bring justice to its Sikh brethren.

He alleged the Congress leaders of trying to shield culprits especially the former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit. Even today, Congress leadership is continuing the same approach as in the case of Tytler.

Demanding death sentence for Sajjan Kumar, the BJP spokesperson said the party would appeal the central government to move the higher court for required further legal action.

  1. It’s good,
    It should have come earlier,
It was high profile crime against humanity,,

Thanks The Scooper for sharing the issue..

  2. If all the poloticians/ communities do not endorse punishment to perpetrators of such heinous crimes , our nation is doomed to demise. The police must not shield such people by presenting weak cases in the court.

I wish courts should also try all the living fundantalists and cops who killed innocents .
